How to Rent an Inflatable Water Slide

  3. Will this be a backyard party with a small guest list or a large event with many guests?
  4. Will the rental be in a city park?
If you are looking to entertain small children (ages 2-10), the best all-around water slides are the bounce house water slides.  The include a bouncing area, normally a basketball goal, and a water slide.  These are great for smaller kids because they have a smaller slide than a stand alone water slide and it is slanted off and not as steep.  They also have a bounce house for those kiddos that are a little shy of the slide at first.  Most kiddos that are scared of a slide in the beginning will become great with it after warming up to a bouncing area first and watching the other guests bounce and slide.  Jump house water slides are very popular.

If you really want just a water slide rental for smaller kids, keep with a 16 foot tall waterslide or smaller and they will do well.  A stand alone water slide is also great if you are doing children of mixed ages or incorporating teens and adults in your party.  That way you don't have mixed ages in a bounce house at the same time as that can result in injury.  A stand alone slide only allows one person sliding at a time and the larger participants don't fall on smaller ones that way.

For ages 12 to adult, the best water slides are the slip n slide water slides or vertical water slides that are 17foot tall or taller.  We rent water slides as large as 24 foot tall.  Adult water slides can be hard to find.  We rent over 70 water slides and have plenty teen water slides and adult water slides to rent.  Giant inflatable water slides are the best for teens and adults. 

If your party will be in a backyard with a smaller amount of guests, you can easily get away with a single lane water slide.  If you are having a larger event, you will want to consider renting a water slide that is double laned so more guests can go at one time.  If you are having over 20 guests, you will want to consider even adding a 2nd inflatable that is also double laned so that you can work more participants through your water slide at one time and not have a line.  

If you are having your party in a city park, make sure you contact the city for any required permits and to see if water slides are okay at their park.  Many allow inflatables, but not water inflatables.  Some parks do not even have water outlets available.
